Reason for Entry: Mrs. Culbreth is very conforting. She helps me if I get stuck, like in math or writing. She has taught us to respect people\'s insides and outsides, like how you feel or other people\'s space. We also learned to respect the things in our classroom. Mrs. Culbreth is very crafty. We did the \"BioBuddies\" in class. They are biographies made out of paper. You write a poem and a timeline and then you make their face, hair and then add details about the person you are researching. Mrs. Culbreth smiles when we walk into the classroom. I have learned so much from her. I learned to write a topic sentence in my writing. When you finish your spelling practice, you get to read silently. We did a lot of hands-on projects. We made dough and sculpted an island. We studied apples and then made applesauce and tasted different kinds of apples. We studied bats and learned there are 100\'s of different kinds of bats. There are micro bats, vampire bats, and many more. We mad e a skeleton of a bat out of toothpicks and then we made bat heads out of hats and paper maiche. When we studied pumpkins we did a play called \"The Ugly Pumpkin\". I was a farmer in the play with another classmate. All the other students were pumpkins except for one, who was a squash (the ugly pumpkin). My mom and other parents came to see our class play, even the prinicpal, Mr. Malher! These are the reasons why I think Mrs. Culbreth should be Teacher of the Month, but really she should be TEACHER OF THE YEAR!
