Governor: New Migrants May Have To Go Elsewhere

Governor Maura Healey is suggesting that migrants choose another state to live in when they arrive in the U.S.

Healey says over 40 migrant families are arriving in Massachusetts each day and are looking to the state for shelter.

Healey tells WCVB-TV that the state has reached the capacity in shelter space, and there are plenty of other states where migrants can go once they enter the country.

Around half of the 75 hundred families being sheltered are in hotels and motels across Massachusetts.
