Red Sox Hit, Pitch Their Way To Win Over Seattle

Reese McGuire and Alex Verdugo homered to lift the Boston Red Sox over the Seattle Mariners 6-4 at T-Mobile Park.

McGuire, Verdugo and Christian Arroyo each notched two RBI to help Boston snap a three-game losing skid.

Red Sox starter Brayan Bello earned his eighth win of the year, while Kenley Jansen recorded his 24th save.

The Red Sox are sitting fourth in the AL East at 57-and-50.

Eugenio Suarez went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and a run scored in the losing effort.

Seattle starter Bryce Miller was charged the loss after allowing six earned runs through five-and-two-thirds innings.

The M's are fourth in the AL West at 55-and-52.
