Longmeadow police are conducting an incident investigation.
There was a heavy presence of first responders including the regional Hazmat team, on Wimbleton Drive after homeowners found several bags of white powder at the base of their driveway.
It was determined the powder was narcotics and the area was sealed off until the substance could be collected and neutralized.
Police say Wimbleton Drive is not considered a safety hazard and residents are safe to resume normal activities in the area.
