The man charged with causing a fatal crash in Belchertown last year is avoiding jail time.
Nineteen-year-old Ryan Fellion of Belchertown pleaded guilty to negligent motor vehicle homicide on Thursday.
The crash, which happened last February, killed well-known Amherst blogger Larry Kelley.
Instead, Eastern Hampshire District Court Judge Michael Mulcahy sentenced Fellion to a two-year suspended sentence and a 15-year driver's license revocation.
