Authorities are still looking for an escaped prisoner from Enfield.
Jerry Mercado escaped from the Carl Robinson Correctional Institution sometime on Sunday.
The commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Corrections says Mercado may have stowed away under a maintenance vehicle or garbage truck.
It's believed that he might be in the Hartford area.
